Friends In Stormy Weather: Chapter 8.4

Once upon a time, I was reading a weekly manga called Time Paradox Ghostwriter. It was one of the first manga I read in chapters, as they were drawn and published, right from the beginning. The writing and art were a little sloppy (relatable), which made it all the more exciting. Polish and predictability go hand in hand in my experience, and I like to expect the unexpected!

This comic would post the date they planned to release the next chapter at the end of the current chapter, which gave me something to look forward to. It’s the reason I put a date at the end of these posts. But one time, ONLY ONE TIME, they did not post a new chapter when they said they would... I felt like I was getting stood up on a date! I was refreshing my phone all day! I was surprised by how much it bummed me out.

Last week, I accidentally listed this week as the day you would get new pages. This is supposed to be an every-other-week endeavor. But once I realized the error, there was only one thing to do about it! I don’t want you to feel the way I did. I almost stopped reading the comic, and I KNOW how hard it is to draw on a schedule! Besides, I don’t want to miss our little comic break date! They’re too important to me!

So, here you are. FOUR MORE PAGES, on schedule/ahead of schedule.

I’ll have to triple-check my dates this time 😅 Thank you for showing up!
