There’s a lot of wild and scary stuff happening in the U.S. of A., and folks from abroad have asked how anyone can know what’s true. That’s a fair question. One way is through personal connection, and since someone I know recently did some on-the-ground reporting about Minneapolis, I thought I would share the link. Margaret was the first visiting writer at my old house in Pittsburgh. That means I lived with them for a month in my 20s and got to know them a little bit. They’re a good writer, a thoughtful person, and certainly a voice I trust to give a real sense of what that city. HERE’S THE LINK.
